Note: virtual fairs are open to the public! All grade levels!
CAC will post recorded sessions of a few of the UC events this week. Events have been popular and fill up fast.
HOOVER HIGH SENIORS C/O 2021 FALL SURVEY
Student responses to the Hoover High Seniors C/O 2021 Fall Survey http://bit.ly/Fall2021Seniors will help CAC and Counseling Team to triage student support this fall around college and financial aid applications, esp. for students without a college access program.

SAT/ACT UPDATES FOR FALL 2020
- SAT/ACT scores are NOT required for Class of 2020 on CSU and UC applications; scores are OPTIONAL
- Many private colleges/universities have also gone TEST-OPTIONAL or TEST-BLIND for admissions
- Hoover will NOT be a TEST-SITE for fall 2020
- In regard to the SDSU Guarantee criteria (College Readiness & taking SAT/ACT) – updates forthcoming
COLLEGE APPLICATION RESOURCES
- College and financial aid resources for you and your students:
- Starting 9/21- 9/25: CAC team is launching College App Office Hours next week for 115 seniors (last year’s College Avenue Scholars)
20-21 COLLEGE AVENUE SCHOLARS
- In the month of September, College Avenue Compact is conducting outreach to 9th and 12th grade students
- In October, College Avenue Compact is launching an application process to confirm our scholars for 20-21
- More information coming soon about eligibility and application process for the 20-21 cohort
