Dear Cardinal Students, Families, and Supporters!
As we wrap up the school year, I want to reach out with helpful information regarding Summer School at Hoover High School.
Summer Experience at Hoover High School: Credit Recovery Enrichment
Where: Hoover High School, enter on El Cajon Blvd, at the East gate, which is to the left of the
new main office
When: Session 1 June 21st - July 9th from 9:00am -1:10pm
Session 2 July 12th - July 30th from 9:00am - 1:10pm
Who is enrolled: Hoover and Crawford students who need to make up a D, F, or No Credit. School Counselors have enrolled students in need of credit recovery, and notified families. If you have a question, please contact your child’s school counselor or call our Main Office at (619) 344-4500.
How can students view their schedule?
Enrichment Opportunity - “Level Up”
San Diego Unified School District is also providing an enrichment program that will be offered at Hoover High School, called Level Up. We have a variety of offerings through our Departments of Visual and Performing Arts and College, Career and Technical Education.
When: same session dates as credit recovery, but the program will be held from 1:30-4:00 pm.
How to register: Go to www.levelupsandiego.org and follow instructions on the website to enroll.
As of today, Hoover staff and counselors are fine tuning the summer schedule. You will be able to see your schedule Friday, June 18th, after 3:30 pm. We are looking forward to welcoming our students on Monday, June 21st at 9:00 am. In person attendance is a requirement, students will be dropped from summer school after their second absence.

Estimados estudiantes, familias y amigos!
Al concluir el año escolar, quiero comunicarme con información útil sobre la escuela de verano en Hoover. Además, esta carta sirve para recordarle que la Hoover High School estará cerrada desde el viernes 28 de mayo hasta el lunes 31 de mayo y los estudiantes regresan el martes 1 de junio.
